"Maple" - BadMoonRizn Maple

Maple is a 2025 Experimental doe blending Guernsey and Saanen genetics, bred at BadMoonRizn from the Cherry Glen and Songlo programs. She brings a different kind of cross than most Experimental Guernseys on the market – Saanen influence adds milk volume potential and body capacity, while the Guernsey side keeps the breed-up pathway open and contributes component quality. The result is a doe built for production first.

Her maternal grandsire, +B Cherry Glen Fred Ludwig , earned a Plus-B designation through his daughters’ performance – a meaningful credential in a breed where proven sires are rare. Her maternal aunt, GCH McQuitty-Farm Ludwig Seraphina 1*M , is a Grand Champion doe whose photos are on this page. On her sire’s side, Songlo Serafin carries Anin’s Cherith as his dam, and his maternal sister Songlo Aravis and her first freshener daughter are also pictured on this page, giving a direct look at what this sire line produces in practice.

Maple is a dry yearling as of spring 2026 and has not yet been appraised or freshened. She is dual registered with ADGA as an Experimental and with the British Guernsey Society (BGS).
