TL;DR: A refined, well-balanced Mini Nubian with excellent general appearance, a strong udder, and proven genetics. Quietly consistent, not a flashy high producer, but an asset in any quality-focused herd and outstanding in butterfat %.
Smooth, elegant, and quietly productive, Foggy Fork Farm HoneyPot of Gold 2*D/2*P is the kind of doe who grows on you more each year. She’s long-bodied with clean lines, great general appearance, and natural dairy strength. Her udder is symmetrical with strong medial support and nice teat placement – especially for a Mini Nubian – and she’s a solid, consistent milker with creamy, sweet milk.
Honey has a smooth, well-blended foreudder, and she passes along length and femininity to her kids. Her only potential drawback is that her production isn’t quite as flashy as our top performers – but what she offers is consistency, refinement, and beautiful overall conformation that complements a variety of pairings. She’s averaging about 5lbs per day so far this year in 2025. Last year, her butterfat averaged 7.2%.
Honey moved to a local-ish farm along with her friends Vivi, Rowena, Nia, Avalon, and previously Vera – and also her son Timothy.
