Riesling | Oberhasli Doe

Riesling is a composed, powerful Oberhasli doe whose strength lies in consistency, structural correctness, and a remarkably steady production profile.

She carries herself with confidence and balance, showing a long, level frame and a smooth, efficient outline that has held up as she has matured. Her ADGA linear appraisal score of GVVG 84 reflects what the photos show – a balanced, structurally correct doe with a well-attached, functional udder that has remained consistent across lactation.

Her DHI record is among the strongest in our Oberhasli herd. As a first freshener she recorded 1,510 lbs at 4.2% fat, Rating A. In her second freshening she reached 2,156 lbs at 4.4% fat, Rating A – a result that placed her just a few points shy of ADGA Elite classification and which we expect will appear on the ADGA Top Ten list. She is now in her third freshening with a 2026 doeling on the ground, and her production trend continues to climb.

Her Alpha-s1 Casein is A/A – the most favorable typing available for cheesemakers – and she has proven to be our most reliable Oberhasli producer, maintaining steady output even through challenging forage years and variable conditions.

Her sire is *B Haycreeks Sandman Traveler 89 VEE ↗, whose dam is SGCH Haycreeks Brownie Tribute 7*M 91 VEEE ↗ and whose sire is a littermate to the 2018 ADGA National Champion and Best Udder, SGCH Haycreeks Kane Stradivaria 92 EEEE ↗. Her dam is Autumn-Acres Ruby’s Risotto ↗, whose dam CH Autumn-Acres KVB Sweet Ruby ↗ placed first at the ADGA National Show in both 2021 and 2022 with a first place udder.

As a yearling Riesling earned two Reserve Grand Champion titles at her first shows.
