"Futura" - JKHerdItAll BCAM Futura

Futura is a 2024 home-bred first freshener out of our own Riesling and Maui. Her dam, Autumn-Acres RT Riesling *M GVVG 84, is a near-Elite second freshener who completed her 2F DHI at 2,156 lbs with 4.4% fat, earned a Rating A, and is currently in her third lactation with a 3F doeling on the ground. Riesling traces to *B Haycreeks Sandman Traveler 89 VEE on her sire’s side and to Autumn-Acres Ruby’s Risotto on her dam’s side – Ruby’s Risotto placed first as an Intermediate Kid at the 2021 ADGA National Show. This is a line built around consistent production, functional structure, and does that hold up across multiple freshenings.

On her sire’s side, Maui traces to CH Ober-Boerd Viggo 90 VEE, adding structural balance and length to Futura’s frame. The Ober-Boerd influence shows up clearly in her upstanding carriage and clean dairy character – she has the kind of presence that tends to develop well with age and condition.

Futura freshened for the first time in spring 2026 and is currently building her lactation. At just two weeks fresh, her rear udder is wide, round, and tightly attached with a strong medial suspensory and even halves – a genuinely promising start from a dam line known for functional, competitive udders. She has not yet been appraised or DHI tested. Those credentials are ahead of her, not behind her, and a buyer coming in now gets the benefit of that upside.

Futura is a home-bred doe – the first daughter we’ve raised out of Riesling – and she reflects everything we were hoping to see from that pairing.
