"Kirlia" - Ober-Boerd Kirlia *M (pending ADGA) VVGG 84

Kirlia is a correct, dairy-forward young Oberhasli doe from the Ober-Boerd program, a line known for producing animals that hold up well structurally and show genuine breed character across generations. She earned a VVGG 84 on linear appraisal in 2025 scored at just one month fresh on her first lactation – the kind of number that tends to climb with age and subsequent freshenings behind it. She carries A/A Alpha-s1 casein.

Her 1F DHI lactation came in at 1,727 lbs with 4.3% fat and 3.4% protein over 293 days, earning a Rating A and an ME of 2,282 lbs – 141 lbs above her herdmates in milk, with 20 lbs more fat and 10 lbs more protein.

Her sire is *B Windscape DV Settlers of Catan, out of CH Windscape LN Canasta 90 VEEE ↗. Her maternal granddam is GCH Ober-Boerd Kiss Me, Kate 2*M, an ADGA Top Ten doe.

Her littermate sister, CH Ober-Boerd Kyurem ↗, was the 2024 ADGA National Junior Champion and 2025 Oberhasli Breeders of America Reserve All-American Senior Yearling. Her paternal half-sister Ober-Boerd T Vara ↗ placed 4th at the 2024 ADGA National Show with 2nd udder. Kirlia has not been shown, but she comes from a family that competes at the highest level.

Kirlia aborted a set of triplets a month early in April 2026 during a difficult stretch of weather. She is slowly building her 2F lactation and recovering well, but her 2026 production numbers will not reflect what this doe is capable of under normal circumstances. Her kids from her first freshening – buck Talonflame and doe Tsareena – are out of Sonny.
