Winnie | Mini Nubian Doe

Tanwen is a homebred Mini Nubian doe whose combination of striking color, balanced structure, and unique genetics made her an easy addition to our keeper pen. With her tricolor coat, moonspots, and polled genetics, she stands out immediately, but it’s her correctness and overall balance that make us excited for her future.

Tanwen is a refined, feminine doe with good proportional width throughout her frame. She carries a smooth front end with correct foreleg placement, a level topline, and a rump with useful width and moderate slope. Standing on clean, functional bone with strong feet and pasterns, she has the structural foundation we value in our breeding program.

One of Tanwen’s most promising features is her escutcheon, which is tall and open for her age with correct thurl placement and excellent room for future mammary development. While she is naturally more moderate in stature than some of her herdmates, we believe her balance, correctness, and dairy character make her an excellent candidate for thoughtfully planned breedings that add additional scale and capacity.

Tanwen is sired by Mosaic’s Smooth Criminal *B, whose dam, Mosaic’s Chantilly Lace 3*P ↗, was both a two-time MDGA Top Ten doe and MDGA V-Show Reserve Champion. Her maternal granddam, Rubystar BTR PC Bonny Bell *P ↗, placed first in a class of twelve at the 2020 MDGA Summer V-Show. Tanwen is also a paternal half-sister to our JKShrunkTheKids MSC Swiftie.
