Tanwen is a small, refined doeling whose strength lies in proportional width and structural correctness rather than scale or power – and who also happens to be one of the most visually striking kids we have ever bred.

Her tricolor coat with moonspots is exceptional, and combined with the polled gene she carries a color and trait package that is genuinely hard to find. She photographs beautifully from every angle, but there is real substance behind the looks.

While she is compact and feminine, Tanwen shows skeletal width that is notable for her size. Her chest floor is more open than it appears at first glance, with correct foreleg spacing and a smooth, well-blended front end. She is not a capacity or power doe, but she is proportionally wide and correct for her frame. She carries herself with good balance and a level topline for her age, and her rump is moderate in length with usable width and acceptable slope. Legs and feet are correct with fine but functional bone, and she tracks straight with firm pasterns.

Tanwen’s escutcheon is tall and open for her age with correct thurl placement, indicating promising future udder potential. She is best suited for pairings that add scale and body capacity while preserving her balance, refinement, and structural correctness.

Her sire is Mosaic’s Smooth Criminal, whose dam Mosaic’s Chantilly Lace 3*P ↗ is a two-time MDGA Top Ten doe and Reserve Champion. Her maternal granddam Rubystar BTR PC Bonny Bell *P ↗ placed first in a class of 12 at the 2020 MDGA Summer V-Show. Tanwen is also a half-sibling to our own Swiftie through their shared sire.
